THE 18TH ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION «PHYSICS OF ULTRACOLD ATOMS – 2024»

From December 16 to 18, the 18th All-Russian Scientific Conference with International Participation «Physics of Ultracold Atoms – 2024» was held in Novosibirsk, Akademgorodok. The «Special Systems. Photonics» team participated as a sponsor, presenting thematic reports and demonstrating advanced equipment of our partners.

The conference aimed to explore a wide range of subjects, including laser cooling, quantum metrology, the properties of Fermi and Bose quantum gases, matter waves, nonlinear laser spectroscopy, quantum information technologies, and the development of quantum sensors.
Our team's specialists presented two thematic review reports. The first of them, «Modern laser solutions for Cold Atom Physics and Optical frequency standards», was dedicated to single-frequency lasers from our partners Fex-laser, suitable for use in the field of atomic cooling, quantum computing, optical frequency standards and quantum gravimeters.
The second presentation, «Components, Devices, and Systems for the Implementation of Atomic Cooling», focused on an overview of relevant CASCA devices suitable for various optoelectronic scientific research conducted in high and ultra-high vacuum environments.
We have also prepared a diverse demonstration area with the latest equipment from our partners. Visitors had the opportunity to see all the devices live, as well as ask any questions they had. Our experts were delighted to talk about the advantages and applications of the devices.
