20TH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION «PHOTONICS. WORLD OF LASERS AND OPTICS 2026»

As a long-standing distributor and system integration specialist, Special Systems. Photonics leveraged the event not merely as a showcase, but as an active engineering forum. Over three days, we demonstrated how our partners’ components perform in real-world configurations, gathered system-level feedback from R&D and industrial teams, and aligned product roadmaps with the technological priorities discussed at the XIV Congress of the Technological Platform «Photonics».

This year, our application engineers hosted live demonstrations, side-by-side performance comparisons, and hands-on consultation sessions. This format allowed visitors to evaluate component compatibility, discuss customization pathways, and explore integration strategies for complex optical assemblies. The approach reinforced SSP’s role as a technical distributor that bridges vendor capabilities with end-user application requirements.

Our exhibition space was divided into demo zones, each optimized to illustrate system readiness and engineering support:

Microchip lasers with passive Q-switching and TEM₀₀ beam profile from RealLight. Single-frequency fiber lasers, optical frequency combs, and Hz-linewidth stabilized systems from Fex-Laser. Laser diodes and photodiodes with free-space and fiber-coupled output from LD-PD. Polarization extinction ratio meters and polarized light sources from OPEAK. Narrow-linewidth frequency-stabilized lasers, TA amplifiers and laser control systems from CAS Cold Atom Technology. C-band erbium-doped fiber amplifiers from Scientific and Technical Center «Radiophotonics and Integrated Optics» (STC "RIO"). Tunable laser sources and optical spectrum analyzers for component testing (600-1700 nm range). Compact laser rangefinders (3 m-20 km) and eye-safe emitters for LiDAR and UAV applications. High-power diode pump modules, bar assemblies, and laser heads for solid-state systems, and much more.

Through active participation in the XIV Photonics Congress sessions, SSP engineers contributed to discussions on silicon photonics, radiophotonics, quantum hardware integration, metrological traceability, and component localization. The dialogue provided actionable insights into procurement trends, certification pathways, and multi-vendor integration requirements, directly informing our partner support strategy.
