All-Russian Conference on Luminescence with International Participation LUMOS-2026

The All-Russian Conference on Luminescence with International Participation LUMOS-2026, held from 18 to 22 May at the Academic University named after Zh.I. Alferov (Saint Petersburg), consolidated leading researchers in physics, chemistry, biology, and medical sciences. The event provided a multidisciplinary forum for discussing fundamental mechanisms of luminescence, novel spectroscopic methodologies, and optical diagnostics.

Special Systems. Photonics organized a dedicated demonstration zone at the conference, focusing on hardware solutions for luminescence analysis and precision spectroscopy. Attendees evaluated key categories of instrumentation:

  • OMNIFLUO fluorescence spectrometer (EV) – modular platform for steady-state and time-resolved measurements.
  • Omni-DFieldN high-precision spectrograph with TE-cooled CCD (EV) – optimised for quantum efficiency and spectral sensitivity characterisation.
  • Pulsed laser systems (DK Photonics, OPEAK, Fez-Laser) – nanosecond to femtosecond sources for time-resolved luminescence, nonlinear excitation, and pump-probe experiments.
  • Supercontinuum sources (YSL photonics) – broadband coherent emission for multi-wavelength excitation and spectral calibration.
  • Laser diodes and pump modules (LD-PD) – fibre-coupled and free-space output variants for custom laser system integration.
  • Piezoelectric positioning stages (MultiFields Technologies) – sub-nanometre resolution actuators for optical alignment and active stabilisation in sensitive spectroscopic setups.
The conference reinforced our commitment to bridging advanced manufacturing expertise with academic research.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the LUMOS-2026 organizers and all visitors who engaged in technical dialogue with our specialists.
